Patio home living is just right for Karin Zuber and her daughters.
Karin Zuber and her 17-year-old daughter Kristin enjoy the coastal feel of their Key Largo model Patio Home, while 10-year-old Erica delights in having two large closets and a private bath in her new bedroom. Fischer Homes' clever use of space attracted Karin and her daughters to their new Patio Home. The builder's quality construction and attention to detail sealed the deal.
Kristin was her mother's partner in finding their new home. This bright young National Merit Finalist will be going off to the University of Southern California next year. There she will participate in the RUSCH Engineering Honors Program. It was important to Karin that Kristin be involved in choosing their new home. Karin hopes her eldest daughter will spend her summers in Ohio and visit frequently after she's left the nest.
Kristin and Karin both loved the Fischer Homes Patio Home floor plan. When Fischer Homes Sales Counselor Rob Ellis walked them through the model, they knew they had found their new home. Karin works from home as a regional account manager for BASF. The cheerful new study, with lots of natural light, has become one of her favorite places in the home. Her daughters enjoy their own study area downstairs, adjacent to a large recreational space. Since the Patio Home is detached, Erica is still free to host slumber parties and has plenty of space to enjoy being a kid. She attends St. Gabriel's, where she plays volleyball. In addition to attending Erica's games and tournaments, Karin volunters as Volleyball Coordinator and helps out with St. Gabriel's fundraisers.
Enjoying A New Community
Karin doesn't have to worry about yardwork in her new Patio Home. Instead, she's able to spend time enjoying the peaceful view from her patio and deck. The sound of the gently rolling brook and waterfall in her back yard creates a tranquil resort-like feel.
Erica and Karin often take walks through their new community. Erica enjoys greeting her new neighbors, especially those walking their dogs. This summer, Erica will spend plenty of time swimming at Four Bridges Country Club, where many Patio Home owners also enjoy golf, two lakes, a sports complex, dining and more. For Karin, the best thing about her low maintenance Patio Home is having more time to enjoy favorite family activities with her girls, such as eating ice cream straight out of the carton with three spoons.
